Description
Young Chef’s Club with Mrs. Branisteanu
Does your child love to help you in the kitchen? Have they expressed a desire to learn how to cook? Or perhaps they enjoy watching cooking shows… or just like food? Come on out to Young Chefs club where your child will learn proper knife skills, kitchen safety (including cooking over a stove, as well as food-borne illnesses), how to read and follow a recipe, and how to cook a variety of foods including meat, rice, pasta, vegetables, sauces/roux, and eggs. Young Chefs will also learn how to meal plan. Cost of this club will include ingredients, supplies, and utensils needed to cook at each session. Once enrolled, you will receive a form permitting your child to use knives under supervision, as well as cook over a stove/griddle and with an oven. You’ll also be able to share any food allergies or sensitivities that your child may have. This club is recommended for responsible and motivated young chefs!
